Mimi is a wonderfully unique Bois D’arc / Osage Orange tree, estimated to be 40-50 years old, located in LL Woods park. The name Mimi is a tribute to both the Osage and French languages. “Mi-Ho’n” means “Sun Woman” in Osage (the light shines beautifully through her canopy in the painting); Mimi is a French nickname.
