Painted in 2021, inspired by a sunset visit to Airport Mesa in Sedona, Arizona.
Some believe the site to be an energy vortex. It came to my mind to paint a series of winged women / angels in various spots from our hike. For painting reference I used photos I’d taken, along with model reference photos for the desired poses. Only 2 paintings were produced for the series.
